Pediatric & Adolescent Healthy habits begin early in life and the care of the pediatric and adolescent patient is a highly rewarding venture because of the relative absence of chronic diseases in this young population.
We provide comprehensive care to children from birth onwards! The child patient can feel just as much at home in this clinic as the toddler and the college student because you are never too old or too young to be seen by a family physician! The full array of childhood immunizations and screenings are provided here including minor emergency care when suturing or splinting might be required and a trip to the emergency room is too lengthy (and costly!)  We offer EMLA patches (for a small cost) as an option for parents who want their infant or child to have as little discomfort with immunizations. The EMLA patches that we buy from a Canadian pharmacy are worn 1-2 hours at the site of the injection or venipuncture to numb the skin.
